In an effort to improve the quality of education and program governance, lecturers from the Entrepreneurship Study Program at the University of Muhammadiyah Lamongan (UMLA) conducted a benchmarking visit to BINUS Malang on January 1, 2025. This activity was part of the institution's development agenda to address the challenges of higher education in the ever-evolving field of entrepreneurship.

The benchmarking visit was welcomed by the leadership and lecturers of the Entrepreneurship Study Program at BINUS Malang. During the discussion and sharing session, the two institutions exchanged experiences regarding entrepreneurial mindset-based curricula, student development strategies, the use of digital technology in learning, and campus-based business incubation systems.

"This benchmarking is important to broaden our perspectives in developing adaptive curricula and learning systems, particularly in equipping students with entrepreneurial skills relevant to the needs of the times," said Imran, a representative from UMLA. In addition to discussing the curriculum and teaching methods, the visit also included a review of learning facilities at BINUS Malang, such as the co-working space, entrepreneurship laboratory, and the existing student business monitoring system.

This activity is expected to inspire and provide a strategic foundation for the UMLA Entrepreneurship Study Program in strengthening the campus entrepreneurial ecosystem, expanding inter-university collaboration, and improving the quality of graduates who are highly competitive at the national and global levels.
