[Surabaya, October 29, 2024] Exciting news has come from the Entrepreneurship Study Program at the University of Muhammadiyah Lamongan. One of its top lecturers, Noer Rafikah Zulyanti, S.Sos., M.A., officially received her doctorate in Economics from the University of August 17, 1945 (Untag) Surabaya. She earned the degree cum laude, recognizing her outstanding academic achievements. The open doctoral promotion defense was held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, led by Prof. Dr. Slamet Riyadi, M.Si., Ak., CA., CTA, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Untag Surabaya. This event was a historic moment and a source of pride for the academic community of the University of Muhammadiyah Lamongan, particularly the Entrepreneurship Study Program.

In her dissertation, titled "Social Media Marketing Activities to Increase Service Innovativeness through Customer Citizenship Behavior and Customer Participation Behavior as Mediating Variables, and Social Co-Creation as a Moderating Variable among Students at LPTNU University in East Java," Noer Rafikah highlights the important role of social media in modern marketing strategies, particularly in higher education settings.

This research specifically examines how marketing activities through social media can increase service innovativeness among students, by utilizing customer citizenship behavior and customer participation behavior as mediating variables, and social co-creation as a moderating variable. The findings of this dissertation not only enrich the body of digital marketing knowledge but also provide a strategic contribution to the development of educational services in the technological era.
