Expert Lecture: Strategies for Building a Pitch That Convinces Investors The Entrepreneurship Undergraduate Program held an Expert Lecture on December 17–18, 2025, featuring Mr. Dimas Tunggul Penuju, S.TP., M.Si., a practitioner, business builder, and social impact driver. The theme of the event was "Crafting a Winning Pitch: How to Make Investors Believe in Your Idea," which aimed to equip students with the skills to effectively develop and present business ideas to investors.

In his presentation, Mr. Dimas explained that a good business idea has no value without strong communication skills. Therefore, pitching is a crucial skill for every aspiring entrepreneur. Students were taught how to structure a systematic presentation, starting with the problem being addressed and the proposed solution, and finally, the market potential and a clear business model. He also emphasized the importance of building investor confidence through valid data, a clear business vision, and the ability to convey ideas concisely yet impactfully. Furthermore, the storytelling aspect of pitching is a key focus, as it is considered to increase appeal and strengthen the message conveyed to potential investors.

This expert lecture was interactive and included various practical sessions, where students were given the opportunity to develop and present their business pitches. Mr. Dimas then provided direct feedback on the strengths and areas for improvement of each presentation. Through this activity, students gained not only theoretical understanding but also practical experience in constructing persuasive and professional pitches. It is hoped that these skills will be essential for students in developing their businesses and attracting investors in the future.
