To explore the entrepreneurial potential of students, the Entrepreneurship Study Program of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of Lamongan, in collaboration with the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Economics and Business (BEM FEB UMLA) recently held a National Seminar with the theme "Optimizing the Potential of Young Entrepreneurs for Economic Progress in the Era of Society 5.0." The event was attended by all students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, as well as several general participants and students who had qualified for the final round of the Economic Business Festival competition, who were eager to explore the world of entrepreneurship in this increasingly sophisticated era.

The seminar was made even more special by the presence of the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia, Sandiaga Salahudin. He was unable to attend in person but delivered remarks virtually.

The event was highlighted not only by the Minister's virtual presence but also by three outstanding speakers who inspired the audience. The three speakers, who are successful figures in the field of entrepreneurship, provided in-depth insights into the potential of young people in facing the challenges and opportunities of the Society 5.0 era.

  1. Pradita Aditya, Chair of Gekraft Lamonngan, and 2. Anggih Heri Saputra, S.Or., a representative of the Young Entrepreneurs Association (HIPMI BPC Semarang), and 3. Rian Seprianto Maulana, President Director of IBW Group.

This seminar provided a rare opportunity for students to hear the views and firsthand experiences of experts and practitioners in the field of entrepreneurship. With the theme "Society 5.0," participants were encouraged to understand how technology and innovation can be key forces in optimizing the entrepreneurial potential of the younger generation. Participants were highly enthusiastic and actively asked questions of the presenters, demonstrating the students' interest in current issues in the world of entrepreneurship.

The Head of the Entrepreneurship Study Program expressed his hope that this seminar would inspire students to continue developing creative ideas and taking bold steps to realize their entrepreneurial potential.

This National Seminar not only provided new insights but also created positive momentum for entrepreneurship students, motivating them to contribute to building a sustainable economy in the era of Society 5.0. Furthermore, to maintain the enthusiasm and momentum gained from this seminar, the Entrepreneurship Study Program plans to organize follow-up activities, such as business idea competitions, mentorships, and networking events. These activities aim to provide a platform for students to apply the knowledge they have gained and develop their innovative ideas. [Kwu-Red]
