The Entrepreneurship Undergraduate Program conducted a Community Service (PKM) activity on December 14, 2025, at the Wonosari Tea Plantation. This activity targeted tea plantation workers as a tangible contribution from the university to supporting community empowerment.
This PKM aimed to provide entrepreneurial education and insight to workers, particularly in developing economic potential beyond their primary activities as plantation laborers. During the activity, a team of lecturers and students presented material related to simple, independently run business opportunities, basic financial management, and the importance of innovation in creating added value.
In addition to delivering the material, the activity was also interactive through discussions and sharing experiences. Workers were given the opportunity to share challenges they faced and potential business opportunities for development in their local areas. This aimed to make the material more applicable and relevant to field conditions.
Through this activity, it is hoped that workers in the tea plantation area will have alternative sources of additional income and increase their economic independence. This program also provides a platform for students to directly apply entrepreneurial knowledge while fostering social awareness for the community.
This PKM activity is part of the commitment of the Entrepreneurship Undergraduate Study Program in implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, especially in the aspect of community service that is impactful and sustainable.
