[Lamongan, July 16, 2024] — The Entrepreneurship Undergraduate Program at the University of Muhammadiyah Lamongan (UMLA) once again held its Student Enhancement Program (SEP) Batch 2, this time with the theme "Challenges of E-Commerce in the Digital Marketing Era."

The Entrepreneurship Study Program featured Mr. Taufiq Hidayatullah, S.T., as the keynote speaker. He is a practitioner and observer of the digital world, active in developing business technology platforms, and has extensive experience in e-commerce management and digital marketing strategies across various industrial sectors.

Through his presentation, Mr. Taufiq encouraged students to understand the current dynamics and challenges in the world of e-commerce, ranging from increasingly fierce digital market competition, changing consumer behavior, to the importance of using technology and data to support effective marketing strategies.

"In the digital era, it's not just the product that determines the success of a business, but how that product is packaged, marketed, and reached by the right consumers through a measurable digital marketing strategy," he explained. Students were also engaged in active discussions regarding the challenges they face in building online businesses and were given practical insights into how to build brand awareness, manage marketplaces, and utilize social media as an effective business communication tool.

This activity is part of the UMLA Entrepreneurship Study Program's commitment to continuously developing students' soft and hard skills through applicable and up-to-date enrichment programs.

The Head of the UMLA Entrepreneurship Study Program, Ms. Mega Barokatul Fahri, S.E., MBA, expressed her appreciation for the students' enthusiasm in participating in this program and stated that similar activities will continue to be held to equip students in building digital-based businesses.

"We want Entrepreneurship Study Program students to be not only theoretically prepared, but also resilient in facing real-world challenges, including managing businesses in the dynamic digital realm," she said.

With the implementation of SEP Batch 2, it is hoped that students will be better prepared to face the challenges of the digital industry and become innovative and adaptive young entrepreneurs.
