Sidoarjo, September 17, 2025 — The Entrepreneurship Study Program conducted an official visit to PT Griya Pangan Abadi, a company engaged in the production of chips, dried vegetables, and fruit, located in Sidoarjo, East Java. This activity is a strategic step in strengthening collaboration between higher education institutions and the Business and Industry World (DUDI). The delegation from the Entrepreneurship Study Program was warmly welcomed by the management of PT Griya Pangan Abadi. The main agenda of the visit was to explore and implement formal cooperation, which was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two parties. MoU Signing: Synergy for Entrepreneurship Development and Food Innovation Through the signing of this MoU, the two parties agreed to collaborate in various areas, including: Development of food product research and innovation Enhancing food industry-based entrepreneurial capacity Training and knowledge transfer between academics and industry players Curriculum strengthening programs based on industry needs This collaboration is expected to open up broader collaboration opportunities, particularly in creating product innovation and strengthening the relevance of higher education to the industrial world. Commitment to Long-Term Collaboration The Head of the Entrepreneurship Study Program stated that this collaboration is part of the study program's commitment to building a productive and sustainable partnership network. "We believe that collaboration with an industry like PT Griya Pangan Abadi will enrich the experience and competency of the teaching team in designing entrepreneurship development programs based on industry realities," he said. PT Griya Pangan Abadi also welcomed the initiative from the Entrepreneurship Study Program and hoped that this collaboration would have a positive impact on the development of local food products and increasing the added value of agricultural commodities through innovation and technology.
