The Entrepreneurship Study Program at Muhammadiyah University of Lamongan (UMLA) made history again with the inauguration of the Entrepreneurship Student Association (HimaKWU) for the 2024–2025 period, held over two days, January 1–2, 2025.

The official inauguration took place on the UMLA campus on January 1, 2025, followed by a series of capacity-building and organizational activities at a villa in Pacet, Mojokerto, on January 2, 2025. These activities promoted the spirit of leadership, collaboration, and the development of strong entrepreneurial character.

At the inauguration, Muhammad Khofid Nazarudin was officially inaugurated as the General Chair of HimaKWU UMLA for the 2024–2025 period, along with other board members consisting of active Entrepreneurship Study Program students.

The campus event began with remarks from the Head of the Entrepreneurship Study Program, as well as representatives from the University Student Executive Board (BEM) and the Faculty Student Executive Board (BEM). Invited guests delivered inspiring messages to the new board members, encouraging them to make HimaKWU a space for the actualization of ideas, innovation, and community service.

Meanwhile, activities in Pacet focused on board upgrades, strategic discussions on work programs, team building, and strengthening the organization's vision to align with Islamic-based scientific and entrepreneurial values.

"In the future, HimaKWU will not only be an internal student organization, but also a vehicle for driving campus entrepreneurial activities with broad impact. We are ready to collaborate with various parties," said Muhammad Khofid Nazarudin in his first speech as chairman. This inauguration marks the beginning of a new spirit for HimaKWU UMLA to carry out its mandate, expand its network, and create creative programs that support the development of entrepreneurial character within the campus and the wider community.
