[Lamongan, June 18, 2025] — Muhammadiyah University of Lamongan (UMLA) once again demonstrated its commitment to the quality of its educational services by conducting an ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 21001:2018 Surveillance Audit on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. This audit is part of the regular monitoring process of the quality management system and educational organization management system implemented by UMLA. The audit was conducted by a team of accredited external auditors to ensure the suitability, effectiveness, and sustainability of the established systems.

ISO 9001:2015 is an international standard focused on quality management, while ISO 21001:2018 is a standard specifically for educational organizations, emphasizing the quality of teaching and learning services and stakeholder satisfaction, including student satisfaction.

Various work units at UMLA, including study programs, administrative offices, and other supporting units, participated in the audit process. The audit team reviewed documents, work procedures, and the implementation of operational standards in the field to ensure that all aspects were carried out in accordance with applicable standards.

The UMLA Chancellor stated that this surveillance activity is a form of ongoing evaluation that is essential for maintaining the institution's quality.
