Lamongan, September 30, 2025 — The Muhammadiyah University of Lamongan (UMLA) Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Study Program has once again achieved a proud achievement. Three students won third place in the International Business Model Canvas Competition held by Muhammadiyah University of Purworejo in commemoration of the university's 61st anniversary.

The student team, consisting of Septy Bian Sastro, Muhammad Khofid Nazarudin, and Melita Maharani Putri, performed exceptionally under the guidance of Dr. Noer Rafikah Zulyanti, S.Sos., M.A., as their supervising lecturer. The competition was attended by various teams from domestic and international universities, presenting innovative business ideas based on the Business Model Canvas (BMC). The UMLA team captured the attention of the panel of judges with their creative business ideas oriented toward sustainability and empowering local communities.

The Head of the UMLA Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Study Program expressed his appreciation and pride for this achievement.

"This achievement proves that UMLA students are capable of competing internationally with creative, innovative, and applicable business ideas. Hopefully, this achievement will inspire other students to continue working and achieving," he said.

Meanwhile, Dr. Noer Rafikah Zulyanti, the advisor, stated that this success is inseparable from the hard work, teamwork, and unyielding spirit of the student team. "They demonstrate that the spirit of entrepreneurship is not just about theory, but about how to provide real solutions for society through business innovation," she said.

This achievement adds to the list of positive achievements of UMLA students at the national and international levels.
